PLAYA DEL TANGA

Located on the northern tip of the island, but in the east, as its name indicates, is one of the largest and most visited beaches in Formentera overlooking the small island of S’Espardell. It is a large beach and, although it is the closest area to Illetes and therefore quite busy, due to its length it is possible to find quieter and lonely places, although naturally, there is no shortage of restaurants, kiosks and hammocks and parasols services, and its proximity to Illetes allows you to walk along all the beaches to the north of the island to visit in one day one of the most beautiful areas of Formentera.

To access this beach you have to enter the Illetas area paying a fee unless you go on foot or in an ecological vehicle such as bicycles or electric vehicles.

In this as in almost all beaches of Formentera there are wooden walkways to protect the dune system and to facilitate the entry of people with disabilities.
