Cala Es Codolar – paradise between stones
The beach of Es Codolar is one of the least suitable beaches for bathing in Ibiza, although this causes that its time, it is a beach very little frequented by bathers, which is a blessing in high season, when all the beaches of Ibiza are full of people.
Its name is due to the presence of codols, large boulders. The entire beach of Es Codolar, both outside and inside the water is full of these stones, which makes it not comfortable to lie down and rest.
Extreme caution should be exercised when walking over the codols, since otherwise we wear suitable shoes, it is easy to slip. Especially dangerous it can also be to get into the water if there are many waves, since the movement of the water can drag us to some outgoing rock.
