Grand Paradiso Ibiza – the hotel inspired by audiovisual art
The seventh hotel of the Ibizan Concept Hotel Group (CHG) chain announced its opening in the summer of 2022 in the Bay of Portmany. The project of the Ibizan businessman Diego Calvo, where the idea of the hotel is dedicated to cinema, short films and video clips.
Grand Paradiso pays homage to the seventh art of its hotels, representing such important names as Almódovar, David Lynch and Wes Anderson in its three large suites. In addition, the magic of its location in the San Antonio Bay will once again give it magic and color in all its aspects, since it will have a movie theater and a gallery where works by different artists can be exhibited.
Every detail of the Grand Paradiso focuses on cinema, like each room that will bear the name of an international artist from the audiovisual world.
Unique design and architecture
One of the highlights of the Concept Hotel Group hotels is their incredible architecture and Grand Paradiso was not going to be less common.
IlmioDesign has designed with all kinds of detail the most classic art deco aesthetic canons with pastel colors, geometric shapes and a contrast of light with textures.
The graphic art is thanks to Marcos Torres who has permits with fine lines and marked with all kinds of details that once again shows the elegance of the hotel.
The lobby
Grand Paradiso have a very informal character, following its philosophy and the new hotel lobby will not have the typical counter, but will be decorated with a jukebox from the 70s and a small table where you can sit down to enjoy a cocktail to make the check in.
The hall
The hotel lobby is an open space as a meeting point before going to see a movie in the cinema or having a cocktail on the rooftop at sunset on a snake sofa.
The restaurant
Grand Paradiso has a quality gastro offer, its incredible restaurant bar is a work of art that forms gastronomy and music. It is an elegant restaurant with a bar that can be enjoyed both outside overlooking the pool and inside the hotel.
The rooftop
Without a doubt, you will find the top bar on the roof of the hotel, the perfect place to enjoy drinks and the sunset. In addition to the bar, it also has a small stage for performances and a DJ booth.
Grand Paradiso designed for the guest
This hotel has a lot of leisure, the gallery, movie theater, pool area or “caduzzi” are some of the Concept Hotel Group concepts that make the guest have the best experience.
The gallery is exhibit works by international audiovisual artists and aim to create a place where visual experiences take the senses to another level.
The classic cinema inside is made up of red velvet seats and tables with their individual lamp. Undoubtedly, a small place for movie lovers where movies in original version or documentaries are shown.
The pool area is feature a DJ booth shaped like a Miami Beach hut. Behind the cabin there is a Backstage with a circular sofa for 20 people and the ‘caduzzi’, a pink Cadillac “El Dorado” that enables the jacuzzi area.
Meanwhile, the three Grand Suites are the best of the hotel, with a Jacuzzi and unique lighting. It has a record bag with several modes and you can choose the one you need at that moment such as disco, party, sexy... Without a doubt, a unique experience.
