This wonderful restaurant is located in the old town of Ibiza, in Dalt Vila and has a unique atmosphere, you will see the passage of people and the shows of events in the streets of the different festivals that take place throughout the year.

The face of Olivo Mio is with a menu of Mediterranean food that includes dishes of great quality. In addition, it has incredible gluten-free dishes, aimed at all kinds of people.

The decoration of this wonderful restaurant has a mixture of rural house in the Spanish style with white and red tones, surrounded by flowerpots on the wall and very attractive wooden details.

El Olivo Mio has a beautiful history, a restaurant that has existed since the early 1990s. Characterized by a wonderful bohemian atmosphere, located in the old Dalt Vila. Dining at this restaurant under the stars is an Ibizan experience that you cannot miss. With very romantic dishes and full of very nice people along with the professional.

 

Pure magic

In 2016 the restaurant was revived by renowned Ibizan restaurateur Rita Sachs, transforming El Olivo Mío into a chic gypsy destination with a unique style.

Perfect tables, full of color and perfect tablecloths together with the predominance of white on its walls, make the place a unique style of florals with a very Spanish tone.

Very good spot for people watching however food was dismal. We were a large group sat outdoors, when it started to rain, nothing was done to assist moving us under cover. NOTHING AT ALL. We were left to our own devices with rained on food and wet tables and chairs.

Terrible experience at this restaurant. Service was appalling, so so slow and disorganised. Food took ages and when it did come it tasted horrible, I sent my dish back (miso Cod) the waitress told me it is meant to taste like that and said I must not have had it before. I told her I have eaten it many times in London and it does not taste like that! the fish was off. She took it away after leaving it sat there in front of me for 20 mins. Then came back and said ok it did not taste good, we tried it ! They then brought me a menu and the next dish took 30 mins to arrive and was better but just very average for the prices. As someone who lives in and eats out in London I am used to paying these prices, but for much better quality than this. such a shame as they have the location, which is lovely

Outdoor table is great spot for people watching in Ibiza old town but I cannot recommend this restaurant. I asked for 1 still and 1 sparkling water and they brought out 1 lt bottles which is way to much for one person. The main issue is the price/quality ratio does not add up. I know it’s Ibiza in high season but there are plenty of other restaurants to try in the same street that may be better value.

The location of the restaurant is nice because it is in the old town like many other restaurants where you can eat better for the same price. The food is not at the level you pay for it. The tuna tataki was prepared in thick peaces and too much done. The steak tartar was so spicy that you were not able to eat the whole dish. The service was quite friendly but a little bit disoriented. I do not recommend it, there are better options at the same street.

Location is pretty good if you like watching people walk by. Staff are friendly helpful. My only complaint is the portions you get are so small.
