Announced the sale of Pacha Ibiza – 500 million euros

The Trilantic venture capital fund has decided to put Pachá up for sale for an amount of between 400 and 500 million euros.

The idea, as reported, is the possibility of incorporating a new partner into this growth process both nationally and internationally, where it would be in places like Mallorca, London, Dubai and Miami.

Owner of Universo Pachá since 2017 when he bought the brand from Ricardo Urgell, says that this fund is looking for capital for its expansion throughout the world, since it has plans for new openings in Spanish and international destinations to be able to promote.

Record numbers at Pacha

They have recorded record figures both in their birthplace, Ibiza and in Mykonos.

El Confidencial states that the fund has hired the services of “Rothchild and Moelis to find a new partner to finance the international expansion of the Spanish brand.”

This summer 2022, the cherry club has recovered the numbers and levels of business prior to the pandemic and that the results of Lío Ibiza, Lío Mikonos, Pachá Ibiza and its hotels in the Balearic Islands have been exceptional this 2022 season.

Capital of Pacha

Trilantic owns 87% of the group with other funds and the Urgell family controls 10% after selling the brand for 270 million euros in 2017. The remaining 3% is shared by Manuel Gari, a former Lehman banker and now a Bank of America advisor, which also charged a large commission for the original transaction.
